There are those who claim God doesn’t promise us physical
prosperity, just spiritual. But they’re mistaken. Look at the words
God uses in those verses. Fruit of the ground...cattle...sheep...
land...storehouses. God is obviously not referring to some kind of
over spiritualized, unearthly type of prosperity there. He’s talk-
ing about the practical kind of prosperity that gets your bills paid,
buys your kids’ clothes, and helps pay your pastor’s salary.
